TRAVEL TO THE COTTAGE

Travelling to Pennycroft
If
you arrive by car, we can give you instructions on how to get here. You will
be able to park your car in the secluded driveway at the rear of the cottage.
If
you arrive by air to Heathrow, Gatwick or Stansted Airports, you may decide
to rent a car. Pennycroft is about 50Km from Heathrow via the M4. From Gatwick
or Stansted you take the M25 then the M4 past Heathrow. We will send you full
instructions on how to get here.
If
you are coming from the Channel Ports or Eurotunnel, you should follow the M20
and take the M25 clockwise around London to the M4 and then follow the instructions
which we will send you.
Pennycroft is 10 minutes by car to Pangbourne station where there are regular
trains to London Paddington Station.Alternatively you can drive to Reading (about
30 minutes) and take the express trains to London Paddington (about 30 minutes).
Overall the journey to London takes about an hour. At Paddington you are on
the Underground System ('the Tube') for travel around London.
