The front of the cottage is approached by a path from a narrow country lane used by light local traffic and not suitable for heavy vehicles. Access by car is by a private drive to the rear of the cottage where there is parking space for several cars. There are gardens to the front, side and rear of the cottage with pleasant and secluded lawns for barbeques and picnics, and a kitchen garden with raspberries and blackcurrants in season.
